Christmas season is my favorite time of the year!!
I love everything about Christmas, the music, the tree, the decorations,hot chocolate, the movies.
The snow... well in Wisconsin here in Arizona I am living in a lie during christmas season... because i walk outside and i still see people wearing shorts and t-shirts... and is around 60 degrees.

HACHIKO: A TRUE STORY OF A LOYAL DOG

Ok I was watching Animal Planet today.
I love to watch DOG 101 to learn about the different dog breeds.
Anyway today on one of the shows they were talking about the breed AKITA.
And I heard a story that brought me to tears... seriously. If you watch this you would know why.

The story takes place in Japan 1920's. An akita dog(Hachiko) was purchased by a professor.
Hachiko accompanies his master to the train station every day and returns each afternoon to greet him after work. It was a ritual for a year and a half. But when the professor passes away (1924), Hachiko faithfully returns to the same spot at the station every day for almost 10 years to wait for his beloved master.
Then he finaly died in the train station waiting for him.

I did some reasearch and found this video in Youtube it helps you see what's going on.

In Japan they have a bronze statue of him and in the train station paintings on the wall of him.They are also coming out with a movie.

I went to the animal shelter today!!

Hi, today I went to the animal shelter.
I like going to the animal shelter because it makes me feel better to know that I pay attention and give a little bit of love. It also makes me feel a little bit sad.
The poor animals there they all give you a look like "Why am I here?"
"Take me home" And is so sad just to see them there.
They seriously don't have a clue why they are there in such a little tiny space.

Anyway.
A year and a half ago we took my mom to go see the dogs in the animal shelter.
And she got a cocker spaniel, she named her Saidy and she is such a good dog. So calm... she has good temperament. Is really nice with kids, gentle and patient.
And she is really cute. My mom loves her, I think everyone does.

Ok this is my craftroom.... i shoot this at 3 am so there is not a lot of light.
There is another bookshelf coming.
I have to paint all the bookshelfs white. There is a big heavy lovely painting my mom did for me that has to go above my desk. My mom is an artist. She paints.
And i still have other things that need to come out and put up. But i'll do that later.

Never thought i would own a sweing machine.
I had a really bad experience when i was around 7 with a heavy duty one.
My grandma had a few sewing machines and we were working with a metal one.
The sewing machine fell on my finger. It was sharp and really heavy.

I was really scared. My finger looked really bad.It was open!!!
I got five stiches. And ever since that happened I've never liked them.
I hated the noise they make, didn't like to look at them.
Just knew i woud never sew.

But earlier this year... i was in a fabric store with mom i was buying ribbon, she was looking at other stuff.
And i saw that little sewing machine in the display. My mom talked me into it.
I gave every excuse not to get it. but...

That sewing machine said "Perfect for crafts". It was little and cute.
And it had a really good price. Because the store was going out of business.
And it was the last one there.
My mom told me it was a good brand.
I bought it, and yesterday my mom was teaching me how to use it.
Let's see how much i do with this.
I just bought it to use on my cards.

I wonder what that's like...
I've just heard that's a lot of work.
I'm sorry i haven't been posting as often. I've been trying to take some italian classes. So hopefully i'll be speaking italian fluently here soon! lol
I Speak spanish fluently, italian is somewhat similar, in grammar and such. So hopefully i'll be able to do good.
I also want to learn French, Portugese and Japanese. But don't want to start on those until i am able to carry on full conversations in italian. So i have a ton of work ahead of me.
Alright then i'll try to get busy with the christmas cards... and post them.

I did a lot of traveling and still not done.
I went to spend a week in San Diego, Ca
then i came to AZ, then went to Provo Utah.
And now i get to fly to New York then to Chicago to get to Wisconsin to go see my family.

I got a Yorkie pup!!!
His name is Beau and it means Handsome in french.
I love him. Is been so fun having him around
watching him play.
He does commands
down, sit, leave it, hi five etc.
So he's been doing good. I love him to pieces.

Hi!!

So i got an e-mail from Sherri yesterday. Sherri is a stampin up demostrador and my friend. She told me that my order had arrived already and i was sooooooo excited to finally get it!

And she was kind enough to bring it to me after work!! How nice is that... she took my order with her to work and brought it to me in her way home.

And in the mail i got what i was waiting for!!!

Hi,
Today is christmas eve, i was going through glitter and graphics to get a new background for my page and i came across these pictures of animals being abused saying to stop animal abuse. And i am an animal lover... so i thought of letting people know by posting some of this pictures... if you do too you could be saving many lives as well. So i clicked on one of the pictures and it surprised me so much what i read.
CHECK IT OUT it was from an 11 YEAR OLD!!
Please read what she wrote...it almost made me cry. I'm glad there is people like her in this world, because that's what we need, people that care about doing good. She goes by the name lemon juice her name is Shandi

Para todos los que no me conocen... yo he sido fan de los Backstreet Boys desde que tenia alrededor de 9 años.

Cuando era pequeña era la fan mas apasionada que podia haber. Tenia muchisimos posters coleccionaba fotos, cada vez que un nuevo video estaba por salir siempre estaba pendiente a la tele para poder grabarlo con mi video casetera. (video tape)

Me sabia todas sus canciones, las cantaba todos los dias... obsecionada con todo de ellos... pero tengo mi escusa de que era una niña asi que pues ya tu sabes. :)

Verlos en concierto era como algo que no pense llegaria a pasar... y de todas maneras era feliz solo escuchando su musica y viendolos en entrevistas o de una manera u otra.

Ayer Zach estaba actuando sospechosamente enfrente de la computadora... el nunca esconde nada se que se trataba de algo para mi.

Asi que ahi estaba yo de entremetiche tratando de ver lo que hacia... el me dijo... te digo mas tarde... pero mas tarde llego en 5 minutos :P

Y me pregunto que si me gustaria ir a este evento que iva a ser en US Airways center... donde usualmente Zach y yo vamos a ver los juegos de NBA.

Dijo que era como un show de patinaje y que tambien iban a estar los BACKSTREET BOYS cantando.

yo no sabia como esto iba a funcionar asi que dije.... mhh.... no se... como quieras... pero bueno al fin el dijo vamos.

Entonces ayer y hoy no me la creia que iba a verlos.... en mi cabeza aun no cabia la idea... sentia como que si no fuera real. O como que si era nada especial...

Aun hoy una hora antes de ir al evento aun no me la creia.... como que la oportunidad llego tan rapido que era dificil creer.

Asi que estabamos llegando al estadio... estoy en mi silla.... el programa esta por comenzar.... de hecho mi aciento estaba mas o menos cerca pero no se veian bien... entonces ellos salen y empiezan a cantar una cancion vieja.... yo estoy en mi propio mundo los veo pero no me entra en la cabeza que esto es algo que he querido hacer desde que era muy pequeña... siguen cantando y comienzo a darme cuenta de lo que esta sucediendo....

pasan 2 canciones y descansan... entran de nuevo cantan otras 2 canciones y es el medio tiempo. entonces como el estadio no estaba lleno

Zach y yo decidimos cambiar de acientos a unos un poco mas cerca.... viene una señora a hablarnos... Zach esta diciendo cosas pensamos que nos diria que nos fueramos a nuestros asientos correspondientes. Y en vez nos dice pueden hacercarse mas... muchas personas lo estan haciendo los que vienen a ver a los Backstreet boys y no al figure skating. Y pues nos fuimos un poco mas cerca.

Pero yo soy ambiziosa... y vi que crusando la arena habían unos hacientos cerquisisimos y bacios entonces no lo pense 2 veces y me fui rapidisimo... mientras la gente se movía.

entonces consegui la 5 FILA!!!!! Cerquisisimas estaba deseando con todo mi corazon que nadie viniera a reclamar los hacientos... Y ASI FUE!!! empezo el show otra vez y quien creen que viene... justo enfrente de mi.

Pense que me iva a morir de tenerlo tan cerca. Nadamas y nada menos que la justa persona que deseaba... ahi cerquititas a 10 pies enfrente de mi.

Otro de mis sueños hechos realidad.

Soy tan afortunada de haber ido a este evento, fue un millon de veses mejor de lo que pense. Si hubiese sido un concierto no creo me hubiese podido acercar tantisimo a Brian como lo hize... es genial.

y la mejor parte... este show saldra en la tv el 1 de NOVIEMBRE en NBC. Asi que puedo vivir de nuevo la experiencia :)
